Girls in Prison (VHS)

Anne Carson, beautiful young daugther of Pop Carson, a crafty old hypochondriac, gets involved in a bank robbery with Paul Anderson and another man. She is caught while trying to make contact with Paul but refuses to reveal the whereabouts of the money she has hidden. Determined to serve her five years and then be free to enjoy the money, Anne finds that prison is quite different from her expectations. She is horrified at the atmosphere and the inmates. Her cellmates, Jenny, Melanee and Dorothy, are a strange trio. Dorothy, slightly deranged, thinks Anne to be the woman who betrayed her husband and child and tries to kill her. Jenny, while pretending to befriend Anne, schemes with Melanee's constant taunts result in a vicious fight between the two girls which culminates in solitary confinement.
